Hello,

I'm the owner of a QP V 2004 with 126.900km on the counter. Recently the powerunit was changed at 125.000km and since then I noticed that the kissing point seems to be too long, hence the feeling like it is slipping. Pulling up from 2nd with 1.000tr/min works without a glitch. As are gear changes between 2nd & 6th.

Can the kissing point be adjusted? The clutch wear is 20%.

Thank you very much in advance for your feedback!

Zoran

To do so requires the Maserati diagnostics though and somebody with good sensitivity feel of the clutch - make sure you are with the tech when he adjusts it.

As said by others, it can be adjusted.  It is known as the PIS point (Point of initial slippage)

Thanks

Noor
