Maserati 3200GT , May 2002 in excellent condition with only 43K miles and FSH
In Grigio Touring with red calliper’s, Nero Hide (red piped), red carpets and Alcantara head lining, the car was specified to take the best aesthetic elements of the Assetto Corsa and merge them with trim combinations that were only available to standard cars.  This car has the carbon fibre console option, which works together with the trim colour to make the car look more “modern” than most 3200’s and dates better than many 4200’s.  Whilst colour combinations are a deeply personal thing, this car is generally considered to have one of the most desirable colour combinations available.
This car also has the optional adjustable sports suspension, 6 CD auto changer and Bluetooth phone preparation and is completely original with the exception of the stainless steel exhaust rear sections which have been matched as closely as possible to the Maserati Steel originals.   All original manuals, service history, spare/red keys and invoices for all service and maintenance work conducted since Maserati Factory warranty expiration are included.
The car has been serviced and maintained by Maranello, Dick Lovett and most recently (from 2008) by Emblem Sports Cars in Poole, the last service being in July this year.  MOT January 2012 and taxed until Feb 2012.  In addition, all the usual 3200 maintenance and repair items have been completed either by myself or the previous owner and backed up with invoices. Significant items as follows:
·         Front Shock absorbers overhauled and throttle position sensor replaced 2007 at 33K miles
·         Stainless steel exhaust fitted; throttle Body, Front Brake discs and pads replaced with new in 2008 at 36K miles
·         Clutch replaced in 2010 at 41K miles
·         Cam belt was replaced as part of the major service in 2010 and timing chains were done in at 31K miles, so will not need replacing until 100K miles.
This 3200 GT is one of the best examples available, regularly but lightly used. The next owner will benefit from the care and investment made by previous owners.  Professional inspections are welcome.
I am reluctantly selling the car due to my new job taking me overseas for more than half of the year.  For any additional information or copies of hiogh resolution photographs, please PM me with your email address and/or phone number.    Price £14,000.

Hi, have just PM'd you about your car. Seems like a bargain, though I probably shouldn't say that!

It does seem under priced if you ask me.  Especially considering the mileage, year and that the chains are done.  Why were they done so early out of interest??

Obviously I want as must as possible, but if you look through piston heads and this forum I think it is pitched reasonably to sell in the current climate.  I also took some advice from an Independant Specialist.  As the forum is great place, free to advertise and I would like the car to go to an enthusiast, I took the view that I would drop it from the figure of £15K that was initially advised.  Given the feedback to date, I may reconsider that price if there are no takers on the forum and I have to advertise more widely - so thanks for your views.
The car had some engine repairs done two owners ago in 2007 at 31k miles and it is usual for owners to be offered the option of doing the Chains and Cambelts at the same time.  The owner chose to have them done as it probably only cost him the addional price of the parts.
