Just been told the ABS ECU on my 2000 model has died and a new one plus labour will cost over £3,000. Does anyone know if they can be repaired or have a working spare? Thanks, Jim

I think BBA Reman can sometimes reapir, and there may be others. I'll PM you deatils of someone that might have a used one for a much more reasonable price though!

Hi Jim ,

I know Rob (rs48635) is having similar issues at the moment , if you search the thread it may give more info , I have had this problem and bought a second hand unit - but did have various offers from places that said they could repair but never took them up on it . From memory I do not think BBA could help . I will trawl through my mailbox to see if I can find the details - I did pass them onto Rob - maybe he has had some success .
