Im trying to remove the bumper and fenders off my 4200 Spyder. The fender is connected to the bumper with bolts that look impossible to reach and connected to the bottom skirt with bolts that also look impossible to reach.

I've taken the wheel and inner guards off.

Hi, your are wright in thinking that the wings (Fenders) are welded to the windscreen post.
They can be removed by cutting at this point but I wouldn't advise doing so unless it's necessary.
I had a new wing fitted to my car, it was braised to the windscreen post, grinded back and a small amount filler put on, the wing was then painted on the car.
Hope this helps Regards Mark.

If your car is a 4200 as you post the front wing (fender) it is NOT welded, only the 3200 is brazed.
There is a fixing that is behind the plastic sill cover and other fixings near the door hinges, these are more likely covered in body sealant, the headlamp will have to be removed before you can gain access to the fixiings holding the wing (fender) to the bumper (quite fiddly) finally there is a fixing under the plastic windscreen wiper panel, good luck.

Check the Eurospares exploded pictures to see the fixings.
