Here we go again......

Anyone else fancy another one?

This venue offers a very cheap day out but it is a very small circuit......It could offers say 10 to 20 of us a good excuse for a midweek meet?

http://www.llandow.com/circuit.htm

It's AndyK's fault he brought this to my attention!

Hi Malcolm H,  First thoughts are it's probably not worth the hike down from the North West but then again............. lets see how numbers go.

I will be up for this Malc (as long as it's open to non Maserati that is)....if we get 20 cars then it works out at around £60 for mid week....very cheeeeaaaap.....and believe me with the wife having a year off work to look after the little pne it needs to be.

Hi Jezza,

I wonder if there are enough in t'north and or prepared for an expidition to t'north for an outing to the track on Anglessey?

Sureley M6; M5; M4 is better than getting to Goodwood aah but then you guys slummed it at the Park Hotel as I recall!

It may not be a popular venue, on the other hand requires less numbers than Goodwood....if the numbers are there I would be happy to arrange another Goodwood day but it has to be early spring or Autumn to keep the costs down...............

Malc a Goodwood in the Autumn I think would be good....great circuit and well worth the drive....Anyway I want to go back to master the first bloody corner.

Llandow is a reg stomping ground for South Wales Lotus...yes I know Malc not the word you want to hear...but should be able to make numbers up with a few pals to keep the price down I would think.

Oh and I don't think there is a noise test at Llandow so all welcome...

Hey Andy...not the bloody hairdryer!

Open to any gentlemanly drivers (generic term that includes sophie and other ladies!) who want a safe track day and want to defray costs with any vehicle...I don't make the rules here!

Be a little more than £60 as i would like a few marshalls arouns and a St Johns paramedic on site, like insurance don't want to uses it but.....

certainly will be inexpensive....I will speak to them and put some numbers together!

Lewis ( Marcos)
AndyK
Me (Malcolm H)
Chad5K1
Maf260

It is already well on the way.............Under £150 for the day if there are ten?

I will get some formal numbers and dates together.................watch this space!

Am Maserless at the mo, and the Lotus is up for sale too so that'll go soon no doubt, otherwise I would have been up for it. I went to that circuit last year as part of a Stratstone Lotus day, and bloomin' loved every minute of it. The track is tight in places with not the best run off area in the world BUT the bestest fun you can have with your clothes on IMHO. Go for it, you'll love it!

Malc, think we need to aim for the 20 cars or as close as possible as £150 is high for Llandow. Most track days are about £80 to £100 there.....smalll and all that.

Fair enough....may prove not to be the right venue?

Hi Malc
Not as difficult to get to as Goodwood as you say but still 200 + miles !!
Thanks for the prompt, I thought about Anglesey after Goodwood and then promptly forgot with work etc. I'll give them a buzz and see what they say.
