I bought this Ghibli GT from new in January 1998 and sold it in 2002. It's the only Maser I have ever owned and have very fond memories of it. I often wonder what became of it . . .

Many thanks for the replies - obviously I'm desperately sad to hear that my old Maser might have met a premature death and I hope to hear the details. Jim - your photo taken in Plockton is absolutely amazing - yes, it's me in the passenger seat with my wife at the wheel en route, I think, to a dramatic dinner at Ullapool. We had driven up from London the day before. I'm just gobsmacked that such a photo exists - just one of the benefits of having such a rare and exotic car! And many thanks, Adam, for pointing me in the direction of this Forum.

Would you ever be tempted to purchase another Ghibli GT Adrian?? you can get really nice examples for 13/14k and the Cup version for around the 15k mark. A small price to pay for such an exclusive car that got the ball rolling for Maserati.
