I need a replacement front wheel for my 222 4v.

Its the OZ Ruote 7 spoke job fitted as standard to this model.
Size 16 inch x 7J.

The wheel type also went on the Racing, the Shamal and perhaps the 430, but I'm not sure what sizes on these models.
(On the 222 4v back wheels were bigger at 16x8J)

If anyone has one or knows of one going begging please let me know.
I don't need one right away but the wheel is beginning to buckle so I'd like to replace it fairly soon.

Have you tried Dave Askew?

I'm also trying to find some Ghibli GT wheels (the later 17" design), but no luck yet.

Yep, spoke to Dave, and he's got several, looking out a good one for me.

Word of warning on these 222 4v / Shamal / 430 / early Ghibli 7 spoke wheels: speaking to Andy Heywood, they weren't all made by O.Z.
Some were made by Mille Miglia, and although superficially they look the same, the centre plate fitment is a slightly different size.

Also quite a lot of them get buckled rims from potholes - they're quite soft alloy.
