Had clutch replaced at Indy for £700 (clutch was £386 from Eurospares)
Annual service at main dealer was £480 (originally quoted £700)
Insurance is currently £486 (37yrs, 3pts, 11yrs ncb)

Just had a cheap year for the Spyder!

Not enough miles, only 2500 so annual service plus bits and bobs and new P Zeros at the back......a one grand year!...........2500 miles? did that in the Ghibli in 10 days to Italy and back a few years ago....must get out more and stop using the Merc...trouble is client's don't "get" the Spyder! and certainly not the Ghibli in it's track prepped state!

Why am i sitting here...sunny day...............

Appreciate the problem. I drive an A8 as a daily driver and I sometimes have to remember that I have the 4200GT. Must remember more often especially as the 4200GT will only get driven three/four times between November and March as shakedowns on dry days.

Try Micheal Ward, their rates are stunning. They trumped Elephant, who I use for the everyday car, and I have stuck with them ever since on the Masers.

Try Admiral Multi Car if you have another car to insure apart from your Gransport. I am paying less than £500 which is almost £200 less than what I was paying on my Alfa GT 3.2V6 with Elephant

If anyone is interested, I too (like UrbanMaser) have just gone with Admiral on a 'multi-car policy' as I also have a daily driver.  They also quoted for my wife's car and this was very competitive (the more cars on the policy the cheaper each insurance policy is).

Around £750 for the GS (8yrs NCB) and £400 (0yrs NCB) for a Lexus - both 6k miles including business use.

No only is Admiral cheaper than any other quote I had from the usual comparison sites - there is less paper work which can only be a good thing!
