I'm having a problem with my headlight levelling system, the fault/failure warning shows on the instrument cluster computer. It seems to be an intermittent fault (the best kind). So I was thinking maybe a sensor? Unfortunately I don't know anything about this system so don't know where to start. I've found a couple of things across the www which concern checking connections - Does anyone know where these connections are or where I can find some sort of diagram? Help appreciated! If someone can help out then I will make a photo work-through of checking everything and post it up. Thanks Nick

If its a 4200/GS you have two self levelers, one on the front and one of the rear suspension. They are prone to siezing as they are subject to lots of water spray.

Hi Safrane, Thanks. It probably would have been useful for me to mention it's a 2004 quattroporte.

Likely to be the same problem. Eurospares do some excelt expanded drawing which should show you which wishbones its attached to. You may be able to get some WD40 in there to get it to move.
