How To Embed a Picture in a Post
The SupercarForums.co.uk backend software allows the automatic upload of any size image for your post. The forum software resizes/compresses the image automatically, so you do not have to do so before uploading it.
A Picture stored on your computer:
- Click the ‘New Post’/’Post Reply’ button on the forum page to make a post
- At the bottom left of the post typing pane you will see a 'Click here to upload image(s)!' link – click it
- Now click the ‘Browse’ button to select an image from your computer to embed
- Select the image and press ‘open’ etc
- Repeat the ‘Browse’ action for each individual image you wish to embed
- Then click the ‘OK’ button to embed the picture in the post and return to the post typing pane
- Having finished typing your post click the ‘OK’ button, and the copy and image(s) will be live
This function detailed below is ideal for large images/content hosted on other websites.
A Picture located on the Web:
- Click the ‘New Post’/’Post Reply’ button on the forum page to make a post
- At the top right of the post typing pane you will see a yellow postcard icon (‘Add Image’ link) – click it
- An ‘Enter Image URL:’ box will pop up. Please copy and paste in the image url for the image you wish to embed in the post
- Now click the ‘OK’ button to to embed the picture in the post and return to the post typing pane
- Repeat the above actions for each individual image you wish to embed
- Having finished typing your post click the ‘OK’ button, and the copy and image(s) will be live
