Hi everyone I am a new member located in the US, however, my brother has just moved to the UK, we are wondering who you all use for insurance for an exotic in the UK so as he can start phoning to get quotes and get an idea on how much he should pay. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey Marcus,

You may wish to click the Sponsors tab and ping the 2 insurance guys: Heritage and Michael Ward, and mention the forum.

I use Wards, as I find them best if you want to use your Maserati as a 2nd car. But don't know how they compare if you want the Maserati as your sole mode of transport. The others will be along shortly to give you some excellent leads and suggestions too.

Good luck.

I use the Admiral multicar policy, which not only got me a good deal on the Coupe but also quoted only £170 for the Alfa, despite zero no claims (as the ncb had transferred to the Coupe).

Depending what car you have it can also be worth using some of the comparison web sites.

Good luck.

Aplan seem to have alot of the forum members, myself included. Had a little ding dong a few months back, sorted it all brilliantly.

38 year old full discount, 1 minor accident, on driveway in Chichester, £580, was £500 prior to the accident, and this extra loading only stays on for 2 years.

Another recommendation for APlan – they were very competitive for me, and have always been very helpful since.

Aplan and Adrian Flux seem to give good quotes.

Thanks everyone for the input, if I may ask, are you all quoting for monthly or yearly rates?

Thanks again.

Yearly for me, monthly usually incurs an ugly interest payment!
