Hi,

Some time ago fan for internal heating started to make noise. It only makes noise on first and sometimes also on second speed but not on full speed. I thought I take a look on it, but I wasn’t able to find any drawings where the fan location was shown. Can anyone tell me where it is located and how can I get to it?

It’s a squeaking noise something like slipping belt does, but not that loud.

Difficult one, I've been told it's a "feature" by a few people in the know, because it is so difficult to fix.

It seems to me also as a difficult job, but sooner or later I would like to fix it. It seems that to get to the fan I need to disassemble the whole dashboard so I think I’m going to leave this work for the winter period when I’m not driving the car anyway. But is there any way I can ease the noise until that time or do I just have to get used to it?

Hey, sounds to me that the fan, which is basically a spinning cylinder with louvres angled , has come off it's correct placing, as it runs in 2grooves and held in place by these, but some if bumped etc move and cause a sound not unlike a loose belt, in time it'll burn it's self out of carry on, but if u look for what I've posted, I put up a manual from maserati and in it , how to take it out etc, not fun! As when I took steering wheel off mine I bumped mine n runs badly n noisely so it's all coming out once got time
