My 2006 Duo Select QP has 15000km now in Hong Kong. Did anyone try the Larini Exhaust ? i am thinking about the Larini Tail Box.

Do they have the agent in HK ?

Thanks
Joseph

I got the Larini sport cats, the center x pipe and the rear mufflers.  Sound like a ferrari on crack.  What do you want to know about it?  Should gain about 20-30hp easy plus lighter than stock.

Hi Alfayuen,

I have the Larini Cats and Back Boxes on my 06 QP Sport GT, the sound is just sensational. I nice rumble at startup and the ferrari sound as you get higher up the rev range.

We are world wide distributors for all Larini exhausts and have these instock, feel free to contact me if you have any furtehr questions or queries.

THanks

Noor

Hi Joseph,

I have a 2006 QP and I started the Larini adventure by replacing the back boxes only. The sound effects were immediate with a subtle increase in volume and in my opinion an improvement in the overall tone.  There is no discomfort in the cabin even at motorway speeds although the exhaust can be heard whilst accelerating firmly. My suggestion is, if possible to listen to one with Larini back boxes already fitted to see if you like the results. If you decide to buy then this may be sufficient to meet your requirements. If not then you can always add to the system later eg X pipes / sports cats. Good luck.

Regards,

Paul

Many thanks. since the car is very heavy and it has a lot of the traffic in HK,  will the sporty exhaust lower the power in the low RPM. anyway, I think i will try the back boxes first. go step by step.

The exhaust will not lower the power at all, if anything it will make the throttle response better.

Thanks

Joseph,

Larini claim a 17 BHP increase for the back boxes alone. I can't say that I have noticed a change in performance but I am nonetheless pleased with the acoustics.
