If the test station is using the old style mechanical brake rollers do NOT allow them to test the car on it as you run a serious risk of breaking your transmission - It is fitted with a LSD remember. Just politely point out when booking that they will need a Tapley meter and you will drive the car whilst it is being brake tested. I understand that the latest computerised rollers are a different ballgame as the test cycle is tailored to the exact model - I still refuse to take the chance and always insist on a manual road check WITH me driving. hope this helps
