Hi all, I'm a big fan of the GS and very nearly purchased one last summer, however I was unable to sell my own car in time so the deal fell through. Since then I've driven several other cars with only the 360 rivalling the GS. My question is, could the GS rival the 360 in performance terms with performance upgrades? I love the 8500 redline on the 360 and would love the GS to be able to match it in that area and on the 0-60 acceleration. I've seen threads on DMS tuning and obviously things like upgraded exhaust (larini) and induction will help performance. The engine itself being a very similar unit to the F430 which handles alot more power I assume the GS could handle more? Interested to hear everyone's thoughts on this. Thanks

Get the GS on a diet and it will be a close thing.

  • New Larini exhaust with sports cats and a h-pipe will save some weight
  • DMS up-grade
  • Drive by wire unit to speed up the gear changes [PD]
  • Performance Air filter
  • new anti roll bars [sway bars] from Performance Dynamics
  • Don't carry a spare [if you have one]
