Hi I have bought a 2002 maserati 4200 cambiocorsa,there is not a spare in the car is this normal? There is however some kind of electric pump in the boot,what do you do if you get a puncture ? thanks

Just hope you never get a puncture. :) If you do, just hope it is just a nail or screw and not a full blow-out. You'll be able to use the repair kit. Otherwise it's a low loader to the nearest tyre shop. Do you regularly get punctures? In 40 years of driving, I've never had one. But I'll get one tomorrow now that I've tempted fate.

Thanks for reply, I take it a spare wheel is an optional extra ?

IIRC the spare wheel was an option at something like £700.  It came with a wheel/tyre and all the req'd tools/jack.  As you can imagine, at £700 it wasnt a popular option! The wheel well in the rear isnt deep enough to take a wheel, even the space saver, so even the boot carpet was different!

Personally, I carry a couple of cannisters of gunk and pray.
