Hi there,

I am currently looking for a 4200 Cambio Corsa, and have seen a few that i am interested in.

They are Blue and Silver in Colour, I ideally wanted a Black one, however to date have not seen one for sale.

Has anyone had a car wrapped on here before, I have done some research and it costs about £1000 and protects the paintwork underneath.

Please can i have your veiws on the matter??

Cheers

I'd agree with Robbie, hold out.  I watched the 4200 market before I bought my last car and wanted a nero/avorio - they're out there.  I didnt get one in the end, but there are a few about and if you're not too fussy re interior and are in no massive rush, I wouldnt have thought you'd have much trouble.

A 56 plate facelift, one of the last in black has just popped up on Pistonheads at a realistic price.

Wrapping may protect the paint short term, but if you leave it on a long time it can peal off the paint esp on the plastics and areas that have been touched up.

Afraid I am with the wait for a black one brigade. Saw my first wrapped Maser a couple of weeks ago at the dealers while getting a service done. Originally blue, wrapped in yellow? When I first saw it thought it was just a crap paint job, surface looked very flat with no shine at all

I was the other way round I wasnt even looking for one but when I saw the red one I couldnt resist.

I'm about to let this guy loose on it, http://www.euroglossprestige.com.au/
will take 2 days and cost a bundle but he gets a mirror finish on the paintwork, should look absolutely epic when he's finished.

BTW I lent the car to a mate for a couple of days last week and he said he did 160kph in third gear on a freeway on ramp, it's only supposed to do 147kph in third, is there a speedo error at that speed ? I know he wouldnt run it into the red.

Black ones are out there, i would personally hang fire and wait for a good black one to come up, just a matter of time.
