Has anyone got or know where I can purchase a cylinder head for a Merak 3L SS.
My Merak had the sodium filled valves and the exhaust valve snapped on cylinder 1 and went straight through the engine cracking the head at the same time.
I am as shattered as the valve, I had only owned the car for 3 miles when the incident happened.

Thats really bad news you could call Andy Brodie who may be able to help you, I just bought a set of steel valves from Chris at Bill McGrath for not too much dosh, the head set will cost you though £500 for an engine gasket set I think.

Also eurospares try them and the infamouse Merak that Top Gear blew the bottom end out of is for sale perhaphs they will break it, regards and I wish you a bit more luck in the future! Peter.
