Er? If it is based on the Qp then it is surely based on the existing Ferarri engine, transaxle and drive train of the 4200 as the QP is based mechanically on this anyway, again the 4200 coupe was based on the Spyder which was launched first. Looks fair but seems to have a bit of Mercedes styling about it. Or will oit be an American engine in a shared Alfa floor pan?

The article states that it will be presented at the Geneva motor show in March 07, and is currently in testing at the Nurburgring. It will have a 'boite robotisee' - (so not called cambiocorsa as per QP). Assume it will have the Ferrari based engine....

It does look good, like the QP styling touches side vents and nose but agree that the rear is a bit Merc like and therefore borderline duff.  I think it's the light clusters on the bootlid that are the problem.  Stick some boomerangs on it!

It looks like a Merc from the back for sure......I am a little worried now mas has gone from Ferrari control to Alfa, I read its not been cost effective to use Ferrari parts in these things so I think its fair to assume there will be a reduction on the input from the Ferrari parts bin.

Surely its going to retain the engine from the 4200 (Ferrari 430) ?

Look foraward to getting one in three years time when they have lost 60% of their value

I have been critical of the photos, I know......but  it's gorgeous, drop dead gorgeous!

It has to be the sexiest car on the planet......just want to rush up and hug it...ok ok ok I know it's a car but......

no no I can handle it.......I WANT ONE

Oh but don't look inside unless you are prepared to make a pact with the Devil!

Maserato really have taken the marque up a level with this one the looks and the luxury are unequaled especially for the price.

Oh Oh oh oooooh!

I have some photos's I will upload soon but the crowds around it made it difficult!
