Hello all just bought a 2006 Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT in Black and I'm very happy with it. I need to find myself a garage to service the car etc. the first question I have (and it's probably really dumb), but if the garage is independant does that mean the service history is no longer FMSH?

Secondly I am in Barnes SW13, can anyone suggest a good trustworthy honest garage for serviing etc?

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

Generally speaking, FMSH means main dealer.  At the moment, a lot of dealers are doing good deals on servicing so worth asking on "SuperCarHub" or similar to get a quote for what you need.

In terms of getting a service, I used an Independant.  If you find one with a good reputation, most buyers will accept that it has been well looked after.  IMO, a good indipendant is as good or better than a main dealer, but thats just my opinion.

In terms of good places near you, I've never used them but Joe Macari is just up the road in Wandsworth (and Wimbledon too, I think).

You also have Verdi and Autoficcina within relatively easy reach.  If you want to stay within the main dealer network, HR Owen have a place up near Hangar Lane or you could go down to Maranello in Egham.  The agony of choice....

I'm in Kingston and use Verdi, they are very helpful, know their stuff and very reasonable. Joe Macari is very expensive, won't say any more. Autoficcinia are also very good but a little pricey.
