Well I've done exactly what I said I'd never do and mortgaged my kidneys, sold the children, and ordered a brand new car, I must be nuts.

But it is Italian and only has two doors, two real seats (and two pretend ones) and a considerable waiting list which should keep demand healthy.

You never know I might even make a couple of quid if I don't get carried away with the options list

Guesses on a postcard, first prize is the warm satisfaction of being right.

Must try harder to be more obtuse next time

For £500 I couldn't resist.  Although I think the final bill might be a tad higher.  Probably be a straight p/ex with the 3200 by the time it arrives  (I wouldn't dream of it btw).

I might have had a guess but I was put off by the thought of the "warm satisfaction"!

only by super cars as a tax right off if buying new  otherwise the depreciation is a waste

I purchased a BMW Z4 before they came out...put a £50 deposit with my local BMW dealer and sold it for a nice profit before taking delivery...pick the right car and you could make a little.

I don't plan on keeping it unless I REALLY like it - just thought it might be fun for a week or three if I can't make a profit before it's delivered.  I doubt year one depreciation will be much, even Panda 100hp's hold their value well.

I think you will be onto a winner, even if you don't make money I don't think you will loose..you must let us know what it's like as I think it's a great looking little car.

Well I've ordered the 100bhp one, rumour has it there will be a 150 bhp Abarth one soon, but whether there'll be anything much smaller is another matter.

Apparently the Arbarth will be rocking around next April/May - now that will be fun!

Great little car, saw quitre a few on a recent trip to Italy, and had a good nose around one in the Stanguenilli Fiat Dealership in Modena.

You'll get lots of smiles in that!

Pacoryan,
I ordered one of them as well - late October.  What did you go for? Mines a white Pop 100hp with red interior.  Should be a bit of fun!

Hi robertf - apologies for the delay, I plumped for a Mod Blue Sport 100hp with a couple of extras.  Dealer is having a launch bash in a couple of weeks time, but I doubt I'll see my car before March!

I think the new 500 is absolutely cracking, so much style, I hope it dents Mini sales badly.

Just picked it up, cracking little car if a bit slow.  Hopefully it will loosen up over a few miles - it certainly seems keen to rev, but with 11 miles on the clock I'll take it a little easy!!
