Welcome. your car looks great on a lovely sunny day. I've been here for just over a year now and loving every minute of the driving experience. Everyone is very helpful so I've managed to sort a few small things myself..like how do you replace the battery on the key.

Only downside is I now work in in London so am getting the train to the office each day.

Hello Mark and welcome to the Forum. Nice motor, a bit different to the Lotus I guess... what made you head for Italy?

Cheers, Paul

well my choice had narrowed down to a DB9, a vantage, a gallardo or the gran cabrio.

My lotus had done 13k miles in 10 years which shows you how much I drove it !  we had an audi A3 as a run around car.  The battery on the lotus continually drained so i had to have it out of the car on charge so it was a faff to actually drive the thing so we normally just jumped in the audi.

I went for the masa as its a bit unusual (I live in south london), there are plenty of AM's around and the gallardo is too impractical/a bit too extreme for me.

im enjoying the masa though - i have used a quarter of a tank of fuel in 100 miles though !  im guessing the sport button means it drinks petrol !

I wouldn't want to drive 4+ litres of V8 in London traffic, but I reckon the Sport button would use a bit more gas... or maybe you've already become addicted to the noise?

Enjoy - everyone's pretty friendly and open about stuff on here so pitch in

Hi Mark, I've also recently sold my Lotus Elise for a 4200CC, still post on SELOC though, had my Elise for 8 years. Cheers, Mike
