Status: offline 		I have a CEL on my 05 4200GT which comes on after a few drive cycles. The OBD code is P0431 - Warm Up Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2. I have not noticed any performance issues when driving and there are no more rattles than usual. Normal fuel is VPower. Seems like the catalysts on these cars are not hugely reliable, but anyone had any experience of this? Is it more likely to be cat failure or could it just be a sensor?

I have booked it in with a main dealer, but what are my options if I need new cats and want to avoid the huge premium for OEM that they will want?
