Vin 000331322. Seat cushion dated 1995 Title 98 2.8 Traditional clock Not evo Dealer info is only that it originally sold in lebanon. Need to know if its legal to export to canada on 15 years old exclusion. I lost my contract due to getting old and must leave the UAE in 3 weeks! Thank you. Diverdan

hello Diverdan

not really sure what your asking here? And at the same time I don't really understand what you've said!?

Have you contacted vehicle agencies in the UAE/Canada for advice...?

Hello Diverdan, As you probably already know the non-Evo cars were produced from '94-'98, however, Maserati stopped including the manufacture date code in the VIN numbers from '95 onwards. Although the Title date on your car is '98 it is not unusual for a Maserati to have more than two years between manufacturing and registration dates (which of course you need in order to get your car into Canada under the 15 year exemption). Maserati themselves can be very helpful in these situations, send an email explaining your situation with your full VIN to maserati.classiche@maserati.com and they will be able to provide you with all of the information they have regarding your car, including the date of manufacture. It will cost you though! For you information, the two zero's before the final six numbers on your VIN are where the date codes normally are, the two zero's confirm that the car is post-1995.
