I've finally decided its time to look for a new motor and will therefore be selling my QP. Rather than get fleeced by a dealer, I would be very open to offers from anyone on this site. Details as follows: QP 55 plate (Oct 05) 50,000 miles, Duoselect gearbox Argento Luna with Avorio leather. Last major service just completed, A/C compressor and alternator belt replaced. All 2 yearly items replaced (mainly fluids). New rear brake pads (rear tyres only 8 months old). New front tyres this month. Car completely resprayed Feb 2011 after it was keyed so paintwork is immaculate.Wiring loom also replaced in Feb 2011. Much loved car but its time to get a new one! Would love her to go to a Maser aficionado so any sensible offer considered. Scott

Scott, you car looks stunning...wish I was in the market...Think I may have seen you a few times around the Chepstow area......Going back a year or so I was putting petrol in my TVR T350T at Larkfield garage in Chepstow and you were to...gave you a nod in appreciation of your QO.........Great colour inside and out...Good luck with the sale.....

If this wasn't you then there are two of you around the area.....

May be worth putting her on the other Maserati forum as well....Can not get enough coverage...

Hi you had much interest? Mine is 2008 qp for sale, I also have it on piston heads, not even 1 call. There was a blue qp for sale at 40k which was sold, he had some great pics of the car. I am gonna get some better pics of my car, see if that makes a diff.

It's tough selling any high end motor privately. Not stating a price always puts people off. As for QPs, everyone knows that the new one is round the corner and whilst the price differential is huge it has an impact. How about SOR with Nuvola in London or Kenny Dunn in Edinburgh? Better prices than trading in and right time of year.

hi - sorry for my lack of replies to your messages.the car was resprayed in 2011 after some tool keyed her. rather than do a patch job on the one side affected, I had the whole car done therefore preserving the colour uniformly. not a cheap job! she is for sale on auto trader at 23,995 but i would take a sensible offer from a fellow maserati-fan. some pics attached thanks all scott

I don't mean to be picky, but your car looks like it has a sunroof? You don't mention it in your ad though. I've just been searching for QPs with sunroofs on Autotrader and your car didn't appear. A sunroof is quite a popular extra, so you might want to add it to your ad. btw the car looks wonderful.

No problems. I'm still getting my finances together, so I'm some weeks away from diving into the market. I'm still trying to weigh up whether I want a QP or not. Your car looks excellent, but I know that these kind of cars can hang around forever unless they're very keenly priced. As you might imagine, buyers are quite wary of buying privately with no warranty on offer etc etc. Anyway, I'm sure you've thought that one through. Good luck!

Thanks for the offer, Scott - I may get in touch later when I have a better idea of my plans. I'm on the south coast, so I think your car is the nearest to me of all those on Autotrader.
