Had a little spare time on my hands today, pottering and tinkering around the the place and cars, like one does ,  and its crossed my mind that now Insurance companies do Multi car policies for joe public why doesnt the government start doing multi car tax  discs , for people lucky enough like myself   to have several vehicles eeek 5 impossible for me to drive them all at anyone time  surely its about time , they could set a fixed amount to cover all,

In this day and age they already have the  technology to check to see if more than one person is insured to drive a vehicle which would necessatate separate car tax but for the likes of me who has a choice of 4 all only insured in my name it does cost a packet to tax the lot , especially once it starts going up to the new levels

Any transport ministers on here ,       could start the ball rolling please .    Might start to pay me to buy a set of trade plates  what do you reckon

regards loz

like our wonderful government is going to reduce any tax with its current predicament..... I wish.  It's people like you they rely on paying well over the odds mate.   We can live in hope though.

I am connected with the motor trade i dont retail cars but i do supply main dealers and indies with cars.
My trade plates cost me a years road fund licence,my insurance means i can drive any car fully comp
up to a value of 30k and it costs me £850 a year.Loz you should think about getting some trade plates and trade
insurance for your fleet.

Goverment are looking for Pay as You Go systems to charge for road use, but I doubt they will drop road fund licence...after all how will they pay back all the money they have used to subsidise the banks...or should I say we, our kids, and grand-kids...etc etc
