Hi Members, It may be a silly question to all of you but is there anyone who knows if the latest front and rear light of quattroporte are compatible with the 2005's model? I really like the latest model but would like to buy a more affordable ones but replace them with the new lights! Appreciate for all your advice! Thanks! Cheers, Keith

It can and has been done. There is a thread on it on the maseratilife forum in the QP section. To do it properly you are easily looking at > £6k I reckon. The rear bumper and tail lights are a direct physical fit I believe. The front requires additional brackets to fix the new style front bumper. You will someone who is very good with electronics to configure the correct resistors to stop the LEDs throwing bulb out error codes.

Here is the link:

Note, that you can simply replace the rear LED tail lights though they are not a 100% perfect fit with the outer edges of the rear bumper - there is a 0.5mm overhang of the lights (to my eyes acceptable, but not if you are a perfectionist) as has been reported on the following thread:

http://www.maseratilife.com/forums/quattroporte/12690-led-lights-qp-design.html

Also the conversion wiring harness (allows plug and play replacement with resistors to try to prevent bulb-out codes) that a member n2euro sells on MaseratiLife does not completely work and throws bulb-out errors. I have gone for this tail-light option and my installers are trying to fix the error code problems. I have to say that I still think it is worth it as the new LEDs look fabulous in my opinion.

I have also had LED front daytime lights installed in my pre-facelift QP.... Hopefully my installers will have solved the rear LED errors by the time I get back. I am in Hong Kong and will post up pictures of my project when I return to UK in about three weeks.
