Hi,

I have started to remove the chrome from my flaking air-vents. I used some Mr. Muscle which did a great job of removing all loose chrome; however there are still some stubborn sections - what have you successfully used?

Thanks

Ah the air vents!

Frankly the quality of the chrome here is probably the weakest point of the car...leave it, it will come off in time!

Not sure I would want to use anything abrasive but very fine wire wool of the type cabinet makers use for polishing might remove it.......with patience but take care to the surrounding!

Buy new ones from Euro spares, I don't think they're dear.
