I was driving down a narrow road, when a 4x4 came charging towards me,  where the road was so narrow I took evasive action and swerved to get out of the way of the dumb bint who showed no sign of slowing down or moving over!  In doing so I have managed to graze a wheel in several places.

The wheel seems to be painted in the same colour as the car rather than an alloy.  Whats the best method of fixing this?  Would I be able to get hold of some paint and touch it up myself? or is it a job for the pro's?

I am sooooo p***ed off, you cant imagine!

I scuffed mine a few weeks ago. The whole set need re-finishing and I saw a rather nice sample of a guys work whilst my car was at Emblem.

The wheels on display are 7 spoke, but rather than just being silver, they are hand finished to match the body colour, as you follow the line of the alloy towards the centre he has air-brushed it to match the car.

The one on display is silver to gun-metal and IMO looks fab and I understand just £60 on top of any remedial work to correct any faults with the original wheel.

The damage doesn't look too bad - just in the powder base really.

Whereabouts are you based as I have a mobile unit for refurbing wheels. I did Alex's Gransport wheels if you need a recommendation.

I am in a place called Whiteley which is between Southampton and Portsmouth.  What sort of cost are we looking at?

A single wheel is normally £65 + VAT. I'm in Southampton March 14th if that's any good - otherwise you're a bit far away for just one wheel.
