Hi,
My first post here.
As probably many Maserati owners I regulary read your posts but had never posted messages.
Today I've got a question for Shamal owners: could you give me the thickness of the front anti-roll (sway) bar please ?
Thanks

Hey Alpa!

Welcome aboard!

Can I just say "Hi" and "Wow" having never met a Shamal owner before!!

I'm not sure if there's a Shamal contingency here to be honest.

However, I'd like to offer my services if I may; can you post a shot of the underside front of your steed and we'll establish the subframe/chassis similarity to the Ghibli and go on from there!

Sorry to disappoint you, I don't own Shamal. Just an almost 200.000km 430 18v. And if I had a Shamal I would not ask about the swaybar size, I'd just measure it :) .
I'm looking for a possiblity to use a Shamal swaybar on a biturbo, for a track days car.

If you are wandering about subrame I'm almost sure that the Shamal's one is the same as on any other biturbo (and eurospares reference matches).
I've got 430 18v and QP4 v8 subrames, they are the same except front arm fixing points and few very small changes. Any part can be interchanged and mounted on any frame.

ah, I see...!

well- I'm not saying there aren't any Shamal owners here; just that I've never met them.

It might be worth asking Birdcage (admin) if they are able to filter membership by vehicle type and then you could send a PM...

Have you had the offer of a Shamal a/r bar...?

I've got a book all about the Shamal, it goes into alot of detail- not sure it goes that far; I'll have a look tonight...

I've had a look at eurospares and they list the swaybar with a price.
Thanks
I'll wait for an answer here, it's not that urgent. Right now I'm working on bigger brakes that fit original 15" rims, not easy :) .
