First post but a long time Mistral owner and here is my problem.....the tyre size is 205 x 15....I have Avons and they don't fit in the spare wheel well. Pirellis, when deflated do......anyone else had this problem?

The more modern 3200/4200 etc also have the same proble, the spare comes deflated and you use a small electric pump to inflate

Thanks Peter, but in '67 spares were full size and it seems daft that an inflated spare does not fit, and only just by a couple of mms at that.
I am looking at Vredensteins as a replacement for the Avons.....I have the Vredensteins on my alfas and they are great. If they fit inflated in the wheel well I will be really pleased.
