In preparation for the Emblem meet last weekend, which in the end I didn't attend due to the weather, last Friday Dave at Sports Car Protection detailed my 4200.

I took advantage of a promotion on the Supercarhub website which offered the £400 detail for £250 if booked in February.

Dave worked on the car for around 12 hours and I am very pleased with the result and would happily recommend his services to forum members.

Dave took a number of photo's during the detail and will hopefully be along shortly and post some of them.

Thanks again Dave.

Regards

Roger

Roger

Thanks for your kind words and I am so happy supercarhub brought you two things -

A) A fantastic saving what a deal !
B) A new forged relationship with one of our recommended partners Sportscar Protection.

But Roger - if you'd used the "call back" - you may have won the free draw (itouch or a wii) and received a free subscription to Evo or Octane.

So keep checking in on the site, as we search to bring you offers and campaigns like this all the time.  I look forward to seeing your pics and I can't wait for mine to be done too.. (practice what i preach)

Ok here we go , finally got chance to sit down and post some photo's

Rogers 4200 had what's known as an enhancement detail , it's not the full blown restoration with paint correction etc , its basically designed to enhance the finish bringing back a natural shine.

Firtsly the car is washed , clay barred then tar remover applied , this removes all airborne contamination that dulls the finish of the paint work

Once the paintwork is clayed and back to a silky smooth finish , i then perform a single stage machine polish , this removes any surface swirl marks but is not intense enough to remove any deeper scratches like full paint correction does. This though does give the paintwork a deep natural shine , in readyness for the wax. .

Finally to protect the polished paint surface a coat of our exclusive £8000 carnauba wax was applied , allowed to cure then buffed off .
Photo's below , apologies for the poor quality photo's , iwe hadn't the best conditions , as you can see i actually detailed the car wrapped up in my hat and coat
