Biggest headache of my life! My car has been cutting off after low idle and while in neutral. Also, sometimes it will not start whether it is hot or cold. It throws no codes. They have had me replace the F1 relay, the heater core, now they say it may be the clutch $5100 plus tax. Help? This is the actual dealership and they can't guarantee this is the problem... This problem has been going on 5 months

Sorry it's not neilcastle. Unless I am going completely crazy (which I must admit as a distinct possibility) there was someone else on the forum within the last 2 weeks describing exactly the same symptoms with the same model. I think the last comment I saw was someone with a white 3200(?) prescribing to take it to the dealer and leave it with them. Anyway perhaps someone more reliable like Safrane can remember more about it.....

I would suggest calling up Maserati US (assuming that's where you are) and asking to speak to customer services.

In the UK, Maserati GB are good at stepping into issues like this before they come damaging to the brand and franchise....can't lose much by a call?

My main dealer ordered the wrong rear shocks for my previous 3200GT and when they went to fit them realised I needed the skyhook version which were twcie the price - Maserati GB stepped in and covered the difference which was very good of them.
