Gavin, You're probably too young to remember this 60s song, but I just couldn't get the words out of my head, so I had to change them round a bit! Roger Beyond the Pale (with apologies to Procul Harum and their "Whiter Shade of Pale") He skipped a red Biturbo turned car shape into junk. I was feeling kinda seasick and the guys called him a punk. The mill was gunning harder as the ‘turbo blew away when I pulled out for another drive ’celeration made my day. And so it was that later as the Jezza told his tale that his face, at first just ghastly, turned a whiter shade of pale. He said, “I have no reason, and my crime is plain to see.” But I wandered through my car mags and would not let him be one of many auto journos who were losing common sense, and although my eyes were open his might have just as well been closed.
