QP vs Panamera vs AM Rapide, without seeing the episode I can easily guess at its content/conclusion.

AM Rapide near perfect, Panamera accomplished but ugly, QP beautiful but lacking would be my guess.

Depends who does the review or if it is a "race". I recall James May once gave the QP a good review. Also any idea if it is the GTS they are using?

My thoughts as well, Clarkson will repeat how ugly he thinks the Panamera is every 1 minute. As for the Rapide, there's not a lot of space in the back but they might overlook this in their normal objective approach to things. He'll also have a moan about flappy paddles. The Rapide is 50k more expensive than the QP, infact you could get a new QP and with the change a decent 360 for the price of the Rapide. I doubt they will factor this either.

Sounds good, wonder who will be in the QP, May?

Overlall however i think its time they broke this trio up, Clarkson is top gear you can't get rid of him, Hamster has a little bit more life in him yet, but i think May should leave and some new blood come in. Or add another presenter at least along side the current ones.

Seriously?

May is the only one who says anything worth listening to. I hope it is May in the QP. Should get a decent review if it is.

Yeah but i think he is becoming a cliche?

I have debated this with some friends, and  it was felt May was the weakest link.

I mean yes he does maybe the best car reviews but the show stopped being  a car review programme along time ago and became entainmnet with cars.

I dont know he can be funny, but i would just like to see it freshened up a little bit.

I'd guess May/QP - Clarkson AM - Hamster/Porsche (as usual)

Sounds like we're all wrong from the TG site:

"Usually, when we shoot these things each presenter picks one car and advocates it throughout. This time, unusually, all three of them went in with open minds and repeatedly switched between cars to find a consensus winner (almost) without prejudice. This went well. Mostly."

Looks like the AM will be declared the winner? Personally I still can't understand why people have this thing with 007?

Is the film still cancelled then? Not sure Bond would suit a Rapide.

HI,

Lots of articles out there but they all seem to come back to this one:

So what did everyone think to it in the end or was everyone else watching the world cup final?

I enjoyed it and thought the QP looked and sounded gorgeous.

There is obviously a slight bias from those of us on this site, but I can't see how you could not pick that car even when the Aston is in the mix.

I won't spoil the result if people are planning on watching the repeat.

In my humble opinion, Porsche, ugly and a bit boring. Aston, nice, but expensive, Quattroporte, in black, with that exhaust note... See the For Sale section for one of my kidneys!!!

I always thought I'd buy a Gran Tourismo at some stage in my life, but I can see it being a QP instead, especially in black.
