Excellent piece of Video Kieth , my favourite of all Maserati's the 300s    oh how i wish Camelot comes up trumps ,         better check to see how i done, personally the latter car the type 61 arches are just a tad too pronounced  for me asthetically  altho track wise performed  and took the prizes

200 horses with a 2.8 in those days was quite good and obviously very competitive, but what really gives all race cars the edge is their handling. I'd like to try out one of these old cars one day to compare them with the run of the mill road going cars of today and see if the feel of the suspension/tyre relationships have improved that much.

Fantastic video Klive. Thanks. If you watch at about 35 seconds the red car starts to roll down the hill, the cameraman man pans right and I imagine somebody lept in and pulled up the handbrake/popped it in gear
