Whilst the subject is hot....................

Is there any interest in a wet handling day at Rockingham in the future?

With or without the Alpina forum (Rich I am going to left shoulder this your way!) The day is split into two groups in the morning and another two groups in the afternoon. It would require 12 cars for a maser session if the Alpina boys and girls are open to sharing otherwise maybe we mix and mingle as Rich, Keith, Paul and I have before. 24 cars for an exclusive maser day.

???

I'd be up for it, I think diaries clashed for the last time, but I'm keen for a laugh, poss me and a couple of friends, all sharing my car if that's allowed

Hi Robbie,

It's allowed but because it is progressive very difficult, certainly with more than 2 drivers. The sessions are divided up into different experiences / disciplines, so shared drivers don't really get enough opportunity to pracice and hone their developing skills.

Rich & I shared the Ghibli first time but took seperate cars the second time.

Cheers

Goes without saying for me Malcolm :)
These days can only improve your driving capabilities, but more than that they are tremendous fun!!
I know of at least three others that would want to do it, plus the alpina register of course if we need the numbers.

I'd be interested in a 2nd go subject to dates etc etc.... If we can fill a "masser session" do you think we could get more time on the drifting section??? defo the best bit

In short yes.  I think the next alpina run is going to be almost all drifting.  But I'd say that it needs careful consideration, not everyone likes the drifting bit alone and certainly there is a lot to be gained form the other parts.

I'd be interested (date dependant of course) - do you have a link to the specific Rockingham handling course we would attend ?

Thanks in advance.
