As the old adage says…what goes up must come down [Unless you are talking about the tax burden on anyone in this country who has made every effort to improve their lot in life, is not living on benefits, breading like rampant rodents, gambling with our money on the financial markets, can aford a mote and a Duck house or is a politician who would be more suited to running an African Dictatorship than this once great nation!] Sorry got carried away there…

So what is the best way of looking after your paint once this cloud of doom drops half of Iceland on your car? [I guess it won’t be worth much like their banks who still owe us UK tax payers millions]…oh god I’m off again.

I guess silica, vulcanised roc etc will create plenty of micro scratches…except for using plenty of water any other tips please.

Can't fit three in the garage even if I put them on top of each other.

The Maserati is inside, as it cost the most [Although Sophie would prefer the 2CV to be inside as its old and lets a lot of water in...a bit like me]

Washed 2 today and I can asure you there was no way that was 3-4 dyas dry dust that came off with the jet wash...I recon plently of it is falling onto the ground. I did use the two buckets with 1/2 a sheep.

Best thing , before the 2 bucket method is to give it a good blast over with the jetwash , but you probably did that already if you can use a detergent / citric degreaser as a pre-spray before jetwashing , this will help to undermine any dirt and thus help to remove any gritty particles before washing

I bought my self a  pressure washer with detergent tank.
I put a auto wash in and at low pressure cover the car in foam, then turn the pressure up and spray the muck off. after that another spay of wash - wax stuff and a light rinse, then my very clean leather to finnish.
I used  the one at the garage first but its a bit aggresive and you can get grit splashed up left from other cars ( I also always ran out ot time )
I find this quick and stops the risk of scratching
