thinking to buy a ghibli but insurance is an issue, on affordability I know it is the same old story as with all italians cheap to buy but not to run but any advice on the best places to go on line quotes are not good!

RAC were good for me.  Elephant are always the cheapest on a limited miles policy - they never used to do maser's but I understand that has now changed

A Plan.  They're up to the same tricks the AA used to do a few years back.  Go out to the market and get a dozen quotes, then call A Plan, tell them you're lowest Quote and they'll beat it.

Also worth a call to RH Insurance, they generally specialise in Classics (over 20 years old) on limited mileage but also cover the odd modern "Future Classic" etc. too...

I recently sold my 1970 Dodge Charger and took on a 1997 Cerbera which to my surprise RH did a transfer on...  great cover and cheap, the Charger/Cerbera fully comp, 5k miles a year agreed values, and all for less than £200 a year!

I forgot about RH used them a few years back my problem always is that i can't phone whilst at work hence time is at a premium and I've found on line quotes are a bit hopeless for maseratis will try to fish around everyones suggestions on my day off! I really need cheap insurance as I expect that the other running costs will be a bit crippling even if i manage to do stuff myself. Just need to be sure that I really can make ownership affordable before I leap in feet first

thanks
