hi brian

i'm trying to get cross posting encouraged between here and sports maserati. i know it goes against the grain and you have reasons not to, but i really feel members are inconvenienced on both sides and cross posting would benefit all members and increase debate and traffic for all.

as i have said on sportsmaserati i'm not looking to get into the reasons against, as valid as they may be. just looking to make things easier and more constructive for members

regards

rob

Hi Rob,

I respect your wish for me not to go into the ins and outs of certain situations - I agree with you there. Hence I will monitor the comments of this site's active members on your other thread in chat and move from there. I just hope no agent provocateurs spoil it.

Regards,

Brian

that sounds fair enough brian. i take it it means you will moniter the links and if anything that could not be deemed as constuctive maserati discussion , it would not be acceptable. and rightly so.

it struck me that the reason behind me wanting to promote these links is purely from a maserati chat and technical point of view. in that case it would perhaps not be unreasonable to politely discourage links from the classified and sponsorship sections due to the apparent differences in the commerciality of the two forums.

please confirm if it would be ok to post a link to sportsmaserati, and then hopefully we can start using the correct reference to each and stop all this fannying about .....and chat more freely

Hi Rob,

Whoever said that it wasn’t okay for normal members, like your goodself, to post links to other forums (so long as it's not spam*)?

* http://www.maseratiforum.co.uk/Advertising_your_business%2C_commercial_entity%2C_forum%2C_product%2C_or_event/m_50602/tm.htm (To clarify: '/' means 'and', 'or'. This longstanding ruling is similar to those on PistonHeads, Club Scuderia, MaseratiLife etc.)

Regards,

BT

Would it be worth re-stating the terms and conditions, particularly relating to the various contents and the copyright thereof so that we have this on a sure footing?
