Drat and triple drat, despite my organisational prowess (see the list!!) and the fact I "bagged" this Saturday weeks ago we have an unexpected event on Saturday pm and my presence is required before 4, which leaves me regretteably unable to attend.

Very, very bored.

Have fun one and all, lots of pics please, and if there's an 8C there don't tell me.

Just leave when required.  If I remember correctly most people started going by about 4 when i was there anyway.

I need to be back here before 4, which means leaving there before 3, the paperwork suggests no-one can leave before 4, and I can't chance it.

Agree Malcolm. Really enjoyed it...a long day, not as long as some as I was home by 04:45 (sorry to rub it in Steve, Dave..hope you had a safe fast journey home). It was great to put faces to names and what a sight all the Maserati in a line..great turn out...Here's a couple of pics for any of you that missed the day...and here's to the Summer Sunday lunch.

The pic of the two silver cars could be in Modena..Italian restuarant two Maserati and a moped.

Who owns the silver 4200 05 plate with the GS wheels? Very nice - you probably saw me walking up and down a few times clocking it (with very bored girlfriend in tow)

i overtook that car on the m4 going east.he waved and i thought that was it as he was only cruising aound 70 at the time. sometime later between swindon and oxford he shot past me and a few others
on a single carraigeway. i tried to catch up with him on the dual sections(cause the missus was with me and she gets nervous on the wrong side of the road)just as i did he came of the slip road and headed to oxford.

dont know who he was but must live 'round there

Ditto - all the above - top day out. Great to meet everyone.

Thanks Andy for getting us out of Bristol - Me and Steve blasted up the M5 home, passing 3 Lancia Stratos then 4 `De Tomasos` with the Zonda nestled between them. I reckon they were doing about 55MPH !! We went by at about a tonne, pleased to say they gave us a wave.

Gonna have a look at the pub meet thing. I though maybe meet up for a coffee / natter then a `club drive` to the pub for lunch whats everyone reckon??

DT

Yes top day out and good to meet you all, thanks for the escort in and out andy.
don't know what Zonda and co were doing at 55mph, and Dave did you notice 3 of the 4 De Tomasos drivers had what looked like ear defenders on?

the pub meet is a great idea

Great day again, sorry about the footbal Raven! you should be ok in the play offs.
Pub meet/drive sounds like a good idea, count me in.
Did anybody else pass the car + trailor with an alfa on the back heading up the M5, it had found it's way into a ditch on the side of the M5 but somehow managed to keep the alfa on the trailor? the motoway patrol people were there so i didn't bother stoping
