I'm paying £630 through Mike Ward Associates, I'm 25, was on the company fleet policy for the last few years so only have 1 yrs NCB, the car's insured with an agreed valuation too.

Cheapest i could find for my insurance was £1200 through admiral before trying Mike Ward!

I'm 28 and I recently insured my 3200GT through Direct Line.  I have full no claims bonus and have a limited mileage of 6000miles per year.  I think it cost about £850 once the payments were spread out over 12 months.

I found that Elephant was almost the same as Direct Line and Admiral was slightly cheaper but only if the insurance was purchased upfront i.e. no direct debit option.

I tried a couple of the more speciallist companies but they weren't able to offer insurance as I was under 30 years old.

no probs with group 20 insurance via A-plan or Adrian flux.  28, full protected no claims, 12k pa with business, wife on policy - think my renewal was £550 or thereabouts.

Just waiting on quotes now , mines due at the end of the month , Aplan renewal still seems favourite at 12k miles  a year ,on drive, 3yrs NCB  £500 excess   bonus not protected untill next year on the GS  quoted me £492        waiting for Wards to come back this afternoon   tho i have one other to try  Performance car insurance, Croydon,   a year ago they were really good  at £875  for the GS and the 4200  so will give them a go later

Ive foundin the past that  Aplan(Royal sun alliance ) are  hard to beat

Loz,

Have you thought about enquiring with Heritage Insurance? I have no experience with them but I notice they are the 'About Events' sub-forum sponsors, so they may look after you. Just a thought.

Seems a fair price - I did check around quite a bit and they seemed a good buy. As some may say "too cheap" who knows but as far as I can see they tick all the boxes we will have to see. But what I was pleased with I was given unlimited and Buisness Class 1 - which is handy when I use the car in the summer from job to job and the company pays the fuel!!!

I pay £750 with Kwik Fit on the GS, think its underwritten by Aviva. I'm 27 with 3 points (sp30) and run with a £1k excess. Always found best prices with moneysupermarket.com

Wish I was under 30 but none the less, FWIW, I have just renewed my insurance via Aplan which includes full no claims, protected, legal, 12k miles per year including business, partner as named driver, £1k excess, no points, garaged for £729.

This is only £175 more than last year despite a knock for knock claim last year when I had the 3200!

I didn't think it was too bad considering?
