SELOC keeps me sane at work, I live on it!

Is instruction optional? I'd definitely like to get some even if at extra cost.

Marcos,

Yes you can get an instructor. We had 3 at last years event and both Sophie and I used them as it was her 1st time to track and my 2nd. They made me realise that I drove like a gradpa when compared to the capabilities of the car.

Cost was about £24 each for those who used them...well worth it.

Do you need to book an instructor up front, or on the day? As I have never done a trackday, I think I should have one too.

Need to be booked in advance. I think my friend Nigel will want one too, and I will use it as well...so far then 1 instructor between the three of us.

Malc,
Any other takers for the Instructor?

I suddenly realised I could push a lot harder and use a lot more of the track. All good experience

Hi folks....

been absent running around the country.......

Right then instructors....I will factor in maybe three to be shared amongst us? it is an extra cost like last year no probs though...not dear especially shared around they have a great system at Goodwood too.

Gring....your mrs is welcome you can either share one slot and each drive half the number of sessions or book two slots and make the car work harder or book two slots and bring two cars!

Andy....we have fourteen now by the looks, so if you have a few waiting the wings, bring them in and lets make sure the event happens for all of us!

Thanks Malcolm, How is the time on the track organised? Is it in 15 min sessions or the like? The wife has said she would probably only want a couple of sessions on the track, letting me have the rest.
We need to decide if shareing the car for the day and buying one slot will be enough, or if we should buy in for 2 places giving us more track time?

Me thinks one slot will be adequate Peter, it will give the car time to recover and the brakes to cool down and time discussing with the missus where she thinks your going wrong

regards loz
