Worth buying some mutes before you go, Lewis just incase , there not expensive and can be fitted externally   rather like a trumpet mute

regards loz

Yep, have seen them before - where can you buy them and how much of a restriction do they cause?

I got mine from www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk at Castle Coombe circuit when I had the Exige. Not far from you either Marcos. They just fit over your pipes and stick out a bit...a bit like a condom for your exhaust.

I have just taken a look at that site, £46 each, bit pricey if you need 4!

What kind of noise limits are there? Would larini's be too loud?

Not sure but I think you need two as they fit around both pipes. Not enough room between the double pipes for them to fit.

Merlin is very close, bought my lid there - I will investigate one sunny Saturday and report back

Larini alone mught be OK, but not with all my sports cat nonsense...

I think you will be fine and not need it, but I guess it is better to be safe than sorry

Hi Andy, it's limited to 25 but it's a long way off and I would imagine we may have some fall out.....but as you are a Maserati owner perhaps Malc will stretch to 26...Only the the big man can say yes or no to that one so over to you Malc....If not added you to the reserve list.

I would bring the Bora but there isn't a cats chance in hell it would pass the noise check even fitted with 'mutes'

Are the instructors being provided by Goodwood?  If not (and this is a non commercial suggestion) I can provide an ARDS Licensed Instructor who would come along for the experience and pocket money......

Goodwood provided the instructors last time, but thats a great offer ...thanks.

Klive,  looked had the thread last night and was thinking the same...great minds and all that.....Malc is a very busy man in the summer hoisting the main sail and showing off his jolly roger. I'm sure it's still on his mind....
