and exactly the reason ive taken the route that i have , A P Racing are owned by Brembo but are their specialist racing / research and development company
Brembo just produce and sell for the mass market , with AP racing you can fine tune what you want in all aspects, hard to get any info from Brembo what does what , whereas im dealing and speaking to the guys that actually make and fit the brakes to 18 of the F1 cars most top rally cars , not only do they know there stuff and they are so helpful and enthuasistic , Installs me with confidence to take it further ,
Just buying an expensive big brake kit , whether Brembo or Tarox etc doesn't enthrall me unless i understand what does what and why you could be buying something thats just bigger and doesn't really enhance the braking or breeds other problems (even worse not worth the ) AP are explaining to me right through the process of what does what and why
