I thought some consideration was being given by Birdcage to some kind of a voting system for who we feel offers good service for our Masers.

As many of you are aware and especially Loz , I had an issue with my 2007 Gransport LE bought from ADG last summer. To be fair though I have come to some sort of an agreement with them as to the cost of fixing it, although to date I have done nothing about it. I have been too busy at work. They certainly didn't close the door in my face and accept no responsibility. They even offered me to buy back my car at the price I paid.

Even though I had a terrible experience with a main dealer when looking for a Maserati (told to bugger off out of their garage when I did not immediately make the decision to buy their car), I have now come to the conclusion that for peace of mind it is worth spending the extra to buy from a main dealer and to let them service the car.

From the time I have been here the only indie who seems to always glow is Emblem for servicing and perhaps once my car is out of Maserati warranty I might give them a try.

I think there are a few other indies also worth a mention...
Roberto of Grimaldi Engineering gets my vote.

Enzo.

Peter, since joining you have done the following:

- Slag off a main dealer
- Praise ADG
- Slag off ADG
- Advise that in fact one should buy from a main dealer
- Claim you only bought a Maserati because Alfa Romeo had dropped the ball, but Alfa are amazing
- Slag off either Maserati UK/ADG for not offering enough warranty assistance
- Claim you now love Maserati
- Now claim ADG are okay

And you want me to trust a ratings system compiled by you? Sorry if this comes across as being rude but I find your 'fair weather' nature staggering.

Hi UrbanMaser,

if you recall this issue was discussed at length recently. The matter has been concluded here: http://www.maseratiforum.co.uk/tm.asp?m=46801&forumid=73
