Today I had a new big problem with my 3200 GT Maserati. After a few moment of driving the accelerator pedal doesn't responding and I can't accelerate more than 1500rpm.

I left the car in the street because I can't driving it.

I have try to touch the connector under the accelerator pedal and also the white connector in passenger side but nothing.

Please help me!

Easy, happened to me the other day. All you need to do is reset the throttle. Seach on the site for the procedure from V bird.

Ok,

I will try to do that tomorrow. V bird has already given to me all the procedures to reset the throttle.

But I don't understand what is this throttle? Can you tell me more?

It's the pedal on the right that makes the car go faster.

I believe the throttle to be electronic and controlled via a computer. which seems to need resetting after a hasty start. ie not waiting for dash lights to go out.

Hello,

I have done the throttle reset procedure and try to start the car after this morning but the car doesn't want to start.

I don't know what to do!

Hey DJ

Have you tried the electrical reset I described in one of your previous threads?

If that doesn't work I guess you need to get it to a dealership or specialist

let us know the outcome

I managed to start the car but I was driving very slowly because I can't accelerate and have more than 1500rpm.

I am not sure that the problem is the reset of the throttle.

can it be another problem because I have replaced the sparkplugs, the oil, the oil filter, the air filters and the fuel filter? Can it be a problem with one of theses points or can it be a batterry problem?

Doesn't sound to good. A regular problem with these cars is the electronic throttle and it may need replacing. I'm sure someone on here who has had this problem will advice you. good luck ,could cost a few euros though. Whats your location?

I live in Nice in the south of FRANCE. What is the price for this electronic throttle?

have you tried resetting it? it's documented well on the forums, it might buy you a little more time or diagnose the problem.
