Hi all, Thought I'd let you know what happened when my oil level light went on after a fill-up?? Well I did add 1lt of oil. Light did not go out though this was puzzling as it had not blinked at all to start with. After disconnecting the battery and a few other things the oil level warning did not go out. I was not that worried as the oil pressure was good and the dip stick was showing a good level. After 30 miles still on. Anyway I remembered the post about the oil level light and 4 petrol fillups. So I had a brain wave and pressed the button for the petrol hatch a couple of times. Sure enough the oil light went out. Lesson learnt !!!

every 4th fill the car checks the oil level, if the oil level is low you will get oil warning light Cheers Steve
