Hi all, I am new here and a first time poster.
I currently have a 2003 Porsche 911 and am thinking that it might be time to get something more "practical"  Budget "0-25k and instantly thought, M5. However, they are a little dry and the thought of a QP started to get me excited.
The Porsche has cost me around £2k in nearly two years on servicing and tyres/replacement alternator which i think is very good value. Insurance is low too.
Just trying to get a feel for what a service costs for a 5/6 yr old QP and what the groups experience has been owner one of these babies!
thanks
Steve

Steve,
if you look at TONYRs post  'Looking at an 06 QP next week'  you will see a number of comments about costs to run a QP. It will depend on your mileage. I do about 20k miles pa which is very high and it cost me about £1500 for a service , 2 sets of rear tyres and one front set each year, plus a bit extra ( £500-£1k) for small issues once the warranty ran out. Fuel consumption was always about 18-20mpg. You can pro rata that for your own mileage.

Hope that helps.

Alan
