I have had my 4200 CC for almost a year now and have just recently had a 31000mile service and clutch fitted.
I have just notice a knocking /clunking sound coming from the drivers side rear wheel area.I am assuming this is comimg from the suspension, as it is noticable when going over large bumps and during breaking / accelerating. Switching to sport mode does not seem to make any differance.
I have had a brief look under the car and cant see anything obvious, however some of the bushings are showing signs of a little cracking.
Anyone have any ideas what this could be. I am in Denmark and there are no indies, and the only masser garage is a small sales place in Copenhagen , no service department there,
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Louie

Sounds like the bush or maybe a tie-bar that is allowing a small amount of give/shunt.

The tie bars do fail frequently and there are 'cheep fix's on here if you search and if I recall correctly the parts come from Belgium so not too far from you.

If it's a real 'thumping' sound then it's possibly a failed shock absorber. Have a close look to see whether any oil is apparent/leaking. New ones aren't cheap, but a guy in the UK can refurbish them for less than half the cost of new.
